Top Computer Misnomers
Whether you are a computer novice or expert, there are a few words that people constantly get wrong. It’s ok if you don’t know the exact term, we’ve all been there. So, without further ado, here’s the list:

| Cable Modem | The network card/port in a computer (NIC) | The device that converts a cable tv line to an ethernet cable |
Remember, while it is ok to use the term incorrectly, you must make sure the person/people you are talking with understand what you are saying.
